Abstract:

The Interagency Working Group for Airborne Data and Telemetry Systems (IWGADTS) is developing a suite of tools to promote standardization of instrument interface, data format and data processing. ARM Arial Facility uses the IWGADTS ("IWG1") format and the detailed information can be found at: http://www.eol.ucar.edu/iwgadts.

Purpose:

Data were collected in order to provide navigation information and basic atmospheric state parameters during the aircraft sampling. The IWG1 data provide critical navigation and sampling condition information.
